Wedding Castlecourt Hotel Westport

The beautiful Grace and Stephen were recently married in Castlebar Cathedral followed by a reception in the Castlecourt Hotel Westport.
Cold but dry weather conditions and a bridal party that were happy out!
This was my first time working in Castlebar Cathedral, a beautiful place, spacious and lovely architecture. Also brilliant to be working with the amiable Dave Snedon from All West Videos, great team player on a wedding day. Also brilliant to bump into Vinny (wedding co-ordinator from the Castlecourt Hotel) at the church....we usually meet at the hotel so it was good to have a chin wag away from his work place!
Stephen arrived in a stretch limo with the lads pretty promptly while Grace walked up the aisle a little later than expected, but all the preparation time was well worth it as she looked radiant!

When the ceremony and family portrait were finished, we headed to Turlough and the grounds of the Museum of Country Life for some photos. Fair play to Bridesmaids Aideen, Leanne and Clodagh as well as the groomsmen Jonathon, John and Ronan who were extremely helpful and courteous on the shoot....it was dry but chilly and there wasn't one complaint from anyone...all working for Grace and Stephen!

We made the journey to the Castlecourt in Westport after our shoot, and you always feel like your cheating when the rain starts to come down when you've finished your bridal shoot....delighted with that!

Thanks Stephen and Grace for being two great people to work with, and indeed for everyone that surrounded you on your wedding day, all great people!
Looking forward to chatting shortly and finalising your album lads!

Westwood House Hotel Wedding galway

Fiona and Dave were married in the Neale Mayo and on into Galway afterwards for a reception in the Westwood House Hotel Galway.
This wedding was immediately after Christmas and I think the photos show that Fiona and Dave (as well as all of the Bridal Party) were still buzzing with the festive cheer and were out to make the most from their day! With Fiona and Dave both living in Australia, you could tell that they were going to make the most of their time home in Ireland, let the hand brake off and simply enjoy themselves!!
Fist time shooting in the beautiful Neale Church and we used the beautiful grounds of Cong for the images as well as quick stop in the grounds of Ashford Castle where Fiona used to work before making our final stop in the excellent Westwood House Hotel.
Super wedding and thanks to the Bridal party for being "happy out" and enjoying themselves as they did!
Best of luck Fiona and Dave and hopefully we'll cross paths again in the future!!
